Online Therapy in New Jersey – I provide personalized online therapy for adolescents and young adults in New Jersey, along with support for parents and caregivers—all from the comfort of a private space that works for you.Sessions are held through SimplePractice, a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform designed for mental health care. Its encrypted video technology helps protect your privacy while we connect. For your safety and your child’s safety, neither you nor your child should participate in sessions while driving. Yes. What you share in therapy is private. At the beginning of our work together, I will explain confidentiality and how it applies when a child or adolescent is receiving therapy. There are certain legal and ethical exceptions to confidentiality, including situations involving suspected child abuse or neglect, serious concerns about someone’s safety, or circumstances in which disclosure is required by law.
I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. I’m happy to provide a monthly superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Because coverage varies by plan, I encourage you to contact your insurance provider to ask about your out-of-network benefits for telehealth services.I offer a complimentary 15-minute introductory call so we can connect and see whether my practice is a good fit for your needs. I accept Zelle, credit cards, debit cards. Your card information is stored securely through my payment processing platform, and your card is automatically charged after each session. If you prefer to pay through Zelle, please send your payment before or right after your session.
Together, we will choose a regular appointment time that works well for you and your family. Each session is reserved especially for you or your child. I understand that unexpected changes may arise; if you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid a fee. Missed appointments and cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee. Thank you for helping me keep appointment times available for everyone seeking support.
A computer or laptop with a camera and a reliable internet connection usually works best. Check your audio and video beforehand, and position the camera near eye level with your face clearly visible and well lit. Headphones or earbuds with a microphone can help improve sound quality and offer added privacy. For children, keep a notebook reserved for therapy, pencils, markers, and crayons or colored pencils nearby for activities we may do together. Having water and tissues within reach can also help you or your child feel comfortable.
